Weston Transfer Station

Don't treat it like garbage.

Reuse. Donate. Recycle.

Bulky Waste Fees

A bulky item is anything larger than what can fit inside a standard 13-gallon trash bag.

Bulky items that can be taken to the Transfer Station for disposal are listed below with the price listed for each item. Prepay on this website prior to visiting the Transfer Station or see one of the attendants to pay when you are there. Only credit/debit cards are accepted on site.

Many bulky items can be reused or donated. See the Town's website at WestonMA.gov/BulkyWaste for a list of charitable organizations that accept donations, if you wish to avoid paying the fee. Please also note that some larger items can be broken down into smaller pieces for recycling, such as a couch (textiles, scrap metal and wood), leaving you with a smaller item for recycling or disposal.

To get started, click on the item below that you wish to dispose of to add it to your shopping cart. You can adjust the number of the same item and add on different items to your order, before proceeding to check out. Credit cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. You'll receive an email receipt, which you'll need to present to the attendant at the Transfer Station.

Organizations Accepting Donations

If you have a bulky item to dispose of, chances are there is an organization that will take the item. Books, computers and electronics, household furnishings, mattresses, and sporting equipment are among those items that have a second life. There are also websites, such as FreeCycle, Facebook Marketplace, or community sales/curb-alert Facebook pages where items can find another home. Visit WestonMA.gov/RSW for a list.

Location

Weston's Transfer Station is located off Church Street, behind the Kendal Green commuter rail parking lot. A permit is required to gain access to the facility. Visit WestonMA.gov/TSPermits to obtain a solid waste and recycling permit or a recycle only permit.
